I have been having a hard time getting back in too the swing of writing a blog but I’m making a valiant effort to do this again. There have been two main reason I haven’t been as good about keeping this up:
But that’s also why I want to keep going, a blog is such a great way to be able to share stories about what’s going on with us down in Australia and to remember it for ourselves.
It was my birthday this past weekend which meant lots of waffles, date night with the hubby at Bicicletta and spending a bit of time getting some Christmas crafts together. Below are some of my favourite things currently keeping me busy.
2 – we sponsored Hello Ruby on Kickstarter ages ago and the book finally arrived last week. It’s to help introduce the concept and thinking involved in coding to children. It’s for 5-8 year olds so we’ll be holding on to it for a few years before Ev can give it a go but it was too cool to pass up.
3 – my one birthday request was a Breville Smart Waffle Maker, thanks to my family and Andrew’s I will now be overloading everyone with waffles all the time. We have already planned a Waffle Wednesday for this week at work.
4 – I stumbled across this Australian Christmas material in Lincraft the other day and it was too cute to pass up. I’ve turned my 2 meters into napkins for us to use at Christmas with more plans for the other Aussie Christmas material I collected.
Stay tuned because I swear I’m going to be good at this again! 🙂
